As a trust, we perform better than the latest available national averages for students moving on to education, employment or training at both post-GCSE and post sixth-form levels.
Post 6th form
Following their sixth form studies 56% of Aldridge students moved onto university, higher or further education and 33% went straight into employment or took up an apprenticeship. 6% were recorded as "NEET" (not in education, employment or training) v 13% nationally amongst leavers from state-funded mainstream schools & colleges according to the latest DfE Data.
Post GCSE
In 2020 on completing their Year 11 studies 89% of our students stayed on in education, 2% above the national average. Only 2% of Aldridge students were recorded as not in education, employment or training (“NEET”) versus 5% nationally according to the latest DfE Data.
