Nick Fenn - Principal
Prior to joining Aldridge Adult Learning Nick had a varied career teaching English in Greece, The Czech Republic and Japan before formerly qualifying as a teacher and commencing a career in Further Education which has spanned 2 decades.
Nick has previously worked at GB Metropolitan College (formerly City College Brighton & Hove) where, over a seven year period, he held 3 posts as ESOL Manager, Curriculum Manager and Director.
Nick’s areas of responsibility at the college included of English, Maths, ESOL, International and Learning Support. Nick was part of the Senior Leadership Team which was rated as ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted, with the college as a whole securing two Good judgements in his time there.
As well as being part of successful senior leadership teams, Nick is an experienced teacher with a Master’s degree in English Language Teaching. He is passionate about the potential for transformational change for individuals and communities that adult learning provides.
